Since I have been reposting some of the blog posts that were eaten in the blog hack last year, I had to repost one of my favorite senior sessions to date of Courtney! She was a natural in front of the camera, and we had so much fun hanging around downtown Martinsburg, Shepherdstown and the river in Berkeley County for her senior portrait experience! She got the full senior portrait experience with multiple outdoor locations, a studio session, as well as a drape shot to replace the one offered by the school (SO much more gorgeous than the school photographer’s drab choices!).
First, our downtown session… I LOVED her makeup! We are now offering a makeup artist for EVERY senior portrait booked with us, and hair can be added for only $30!
Next, her Shepherdstown session…
We ended the shoot on the river at 49 degrees (December, mind you…) for pictures of her in her homecoming dress, sash and crown from being Homecoming Queen! I was excited that she wanted to do this, but man oh man was it freaking COLD out there! I had her mom take a shot of me in the freezing water… anything to get that shot… and what a shot it was!
Here’s the Instagram of the shot her mom got of me trying to get hypothermia 🙂
psst… Go follow me!!!
Here’s a behind the scenes shot of her mom helping her get from one setup to the other… It looked like such a dreary day, but gosh don’t the finished images look dreamy???
These were taken in our in-home studio in Martinsburg, WV.
Here’s her beautiful drape shot for the yearbook. I love being able to give my seniors such a better portrait to showcase in their yearbook. You’ll be staring at that thing at each reunion (trust me, I just had another reunion, and I drew over my picture because I hated it so much, lol! So embarrassing!).
This year we are adding so many perks for the best senior portrait experience ever! Get in touch early, because we are limiting our sessions this summer.
