Newborn photography is so special, and I am so privileged to be able to capture so many sweet little babies in their first weeks of life 🙂 Here is little Ms. Ellie!
Let’s talk about safety for a quick second. I keep seeing new photographers post images where babies are in unsafe positions, and images are clearly not edited… this is a huge issue in our industry, and I want to make sure our potential clients know that the safety of the baby is the TOP priority! In images like the one above, where there is any inkling of a crazy chance that the baby will fall or get hurt in any way, there is always a spotter that has their hand on the baby (or at least just a few inches away). We use Photoshop to edit the spotter out. All those hanging baby poses, frog position poses, and countless others you see are actually Photoshop composites to make it look adorable. Newbies please take note 🙂 Here’s the real shot with mom’s hand on the baby before I photoshopped her out.
They chose this image for a beautiful canvas to hang in their home.
