We met Jonathan & Lindsey at the bridal show at Boydville last year, and I was so happy that they hired us to photograph their wedding at the Historic McFarland House. After we met, we realized that we are in the same homeschooling co-op together, so it was great to see so many familiar faces at their wedding. Thanks to this very special couple who made the entire day so exceptional in so many ways.

Anthony & Mark from Flowers Unlimited in Martinsburg provided beautiful florals that decorated the entire house. The ceremony arch was especially breathtaking, and complemented the wedding perfectly.
Gorgeous bouquets by Flowers Unlimited! I’ve never seen Nigellas in a bouquet before, and I loved them (if you follow us on Instagram, you may have seen our front walkway taken over by these beautiful wispy flowers before… this year they are taking over more than just the walkway haha!)
Lindsey tucked her vows into her bouquet, and it looked so perfect!
They didn’t want a First Look, but instead opted to pass love notes around a corner before the ceremony. LOVE!
Jonathan sees his bride for the first time!
Here’s my favorite moment that Jon caught. I love the look on Lindsey’s sister’s face as she watches her big sis walking away with her new husband… and also the parents of the newlyweds exchanging proud glances. So sweet!
Three generations of rings…
They opted for an elegant ballroom style first dance.
Jonathan surprised Lindsey by serenading her with a love song. Everyone loved it!
The shoe game always makes for lots of laughter at a wedding reception. This was no exception 🙂
Jonathan had another surprise for Lindsey at the end of the night. She has a fascination with horses, so he hired a horse-drawn carriage to take them around town before heading to their room at Boydville, the Inn at Martinsburg. Talk about romantic!!!
Thanks to the couple and their wonderful parents who made this wedding an extra special event!
